Today, Miss Isla Mae is four months old. The weather was pretty mediocre, so we spent Memorial Day relaxing at home. It's hard to believe that four short months ago, we were celebrating her arrival at the hospital. We don't know exactly how much she weighs right now, but it's certainly more than the 6 pounds 1 ounce she was in January. Here are some pictures to show just how big she is today.

Mother's Day and More
Here are a few pictures from the last couple of weeks:
Isla sitting in her chair for the first time. It's 58 years old and is now in its third generation in the family.
Isla and the happy Mom
Isla's first attempt at eating cereal
And here's the aftermath
Hanging out on the couch in her jeans
Me and Isla sharing a moment
Staring into the camera with her pretty blue eyes

Happy Mother's Day
It's a big day here at the Kapellas house. Tiffany is celebrating her first Mother's Day. We had some french toast and bacon to start the day off on the right foot. Actually the day was really started with a minor milestone. Isla slept in her crib for six hours last night. She's been going about 8 hours in between nighttime feedings (which is awesome!), but we still haven't had much luck with the crib. We really hope this is the start of something new.
This is Isla in her crib - from about 10 days ago or so.
As usual, we've been pretty busy over the last couple weeks, and the rest of the month looks like more of the same with a couple of weddings still on the May calendar.
Here are some pictures from the last couple weeks.
After a bath in her Cubs' towel from Uncle Michael
Exhausted after several minutes of having fun on the gymini
Yesterday, we went on a Wrigley Field tour with the Fryers and the Murphys for Kris' 31st birthday. Here a couple of those highlights:
In the RF bleachers
Isla and me hanging out in the visitors' clubhouse
The view from a luxury suite almost directly behind home plate
The Cubs' clubhouse
Tiffany and Isla just inside the Cubs clubhouse
Tiffany , Isla and me on the field
A shot from just outside the 3B dugout
