Goodbye, Kimball. It's been nice.

On Friday, May 11, we moved out of our home of 5 years in the good ol' AP (Albany Park).

This condo was the first (very) large purchase Paul and I made together as a married couple and we put a lot of blood, sweat, paint and tears into it. It was the setting for many great gatherings of family and friends (a Gabbaland, a Thanksmas dinner, a princess castle, post-marathon pizza parties...). We brought home our first child here and nearly delivered the second one in our bathroom!

We met some great neighbors who became great friends as well as some not so great neighbors that fortunately moved out sooner than later.

And we were lucky enough to inhale the intoxicating aroma of some freshly fried Popeye's Chicken when we opened our windows on nice weather days. We know what they mean when they say "love that chicken!"

One last family photo at the place where it all began.

And here we are outside of our new home on Washtenaw in the lovely neighborhood of West Ridge. I'm particularly thrilled about the Target 0.7 miles away.

We're sure to make many new memories here, and started off with a great one. I celebrated my first Mother's Day as a mom of two with the best presents I could ever ask for.
